Load your skewers for a delicious adobo twist on fruit snacks with our Chile-Lime Melon Skewers recipe. Traditional canned adobo sauce is made from a combination of tomatoes, dried chiles, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, and other spices. Although native to Spain, it became a widely adopted condiment by the various places visited by Spanish colonial explorers, including Mexico. Adobo sauce became extremely prevalent in Mexican cuisine and is still widely used today.

Our melon skewers feature the Chile-Lime Adobo Seasoning, our own recreation of the sweet, smoky, and spicy flavors of the traditional canned sauce in a dry seasoning form. This simple yet delicious recipe requires no cooking and is easy to prepare. These vegan skewers are perfect as a quick snack, a fun appetizer for parties or tailgates, or as a side dish.
